The New Brunswick Association of Real Estate Appraisers is a regulatory body. We are not real estate appraisers.
Our mandate is to ensure that real estate appraisers follow the laws and standards of the profession so the public can have access to safe, ethical and quality real estate appraisal services.
NBAREA regulates the profession of real estate appraisal by administering the provisions of the New Brunswick Association of Real Estate Appraisal Act.
How NBAREA protects the Public
We set and enforce standards for certification to practice real estate appraisal register and register only those individuals who meet those standards.
We make sure that members keep their knowledge and skills up to date through mandatory requirements for continuing professional development.
We develop and implement standards of knowledge, skill, efficiency, and ethics, for the practice of real estate appraisal in New Brunswick. If you have a concern or complaint about a real estate appraiser, you can contact us for help.
The register of real estate appraisers is posted on our website to help you verify the status of a real estate appraiser registered to practice in New Brunswick.
We promote awareness of the role of the association in regulating the profession and on the role of real estate appraisers.
