NBAREA requires all members to participate in the Mandatory Professional Liability Insurance Program. Members not involved in fee appraisal work must still participate in the program, but are charged a nominal fee per year for coverage. It is the candidate’s responsibility to obtain a position and find a mentor for fulfilling the mandatory Applied Experience Program. Prospective candidates should be aware that they may need to re-locate in order to obtain the necessary experience (breadth & depth).
Please be advised that effective January 1, 1998 you must hold a degree from an accredited university in order to attain use of the AACI, P.App designation. Effective January 1, 2006, a degree will be required to attain the CRA designation
